Return & Refund Policy – ByteNexus

1. Overview

ByteNexus provides digital services, including but not limited to cybersecurity solutions, custom web applications, system setups, and consulting. Due to the nature of these services, traditional “returns” do not apply.

This policy outlines when refunds may or may not be issued.


2. No Returns on Digital Services

As ByteNexus delivers intangible digital services and custom-built solutions, completed work cannot be returned once delivered.


3. Deposits & Upfront Payments

  • All deposits or upfront payments are non-refundable.

  • These payments secure your project slot, cover initial consultation, planning, and resource allocation.


4. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may only be considered under the following conditions:

4.1 Before Work Has Started

  • If a project is cancelled before any work has begun, a partial refund may be issued.

  • Administrative or processing fees may be deducted.

4.2 Failure to Deliver

  • If ByteNexus is unable to deliver the agreed service due to internal limitations, a full or partial refund may be issued.


5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after project commencement

  • Delays caused by the client (e.g., lack of communication, missing content, approvals)

  • Completed milestones or delivered work

  • Services already rendered (consultations, setups, deployments, configurations)

  • Third-party costs (domains, hosting, APIs, cloud services, licenses)


6. Revisions Instead of Refunds

ByteNexus prioritizes client satisfaction. Instead of refunds:

  • Clients are entitled to reasonable revisions within the agreed project scope

  • Additional revisions or changes outside scope may incur extra charges


7. Subscription / Ongoing Services

For ongoing or subscription-based services:

  • Cancellation must be requested before the next billing cycle

  • No refunds will be issued for partially used billing periods


8. Chargebacks & Disputes

  • Initiating a chargeback without contacting ByteNexus first is considered a violation of this policy

  • We encourage resolving all issues directly via support before escalating


9. Custom Development Clause

For custom-built systems (e.g., web apps, SOC setups, automation tools):

  • Payments reflect time, expertise, and development effort

  • Even if the project is discontinued, work completed up to that point remains billable
